Agreement to Accept Electronic Delivery of Account Statements

In this Agreement to accept electronic delivery of account statements, the words, I and me means you, the member of Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union. The words we, us and our means the Credit Union.

You must be a Home Banking User in Order to Receive eStatements.

Your Consent to Receive Electronic Deliver of Account Statements and Right/Option for Paper Delivery of said statements. You are consenting to receive your account statements in electronic form that we would normally provide to you in a written form you may retain. We may refuse to do so if the document becomes unavailable or nonexecutable in an electronic form, at which time you would receive a written form mailed to your account address we have on file.

The electronic delivery of account statement(s) and access to online statements is limited to 6 statement periods. You will receive an email notification when your electronic account statement is ready for retrieval within our Home Banking system and you understand that it is your responsibility to view, print and/or save your statements for future reference. This email may also contain links to current promotional information, including recent NEFCU News articles. Access to these statements will be password protected via a Home Banking signon for your security and protection.

Termination of Consent to Receive Statements by Electronic Means. You may terminate this agreement at any time by notifying us. Please refer to the contact information noted at the end of this Agreement. You agree to allow us reasonable time to resume providing statements covered by this Agreement in written form.

Requesting a Written Paper Copy of Account Statements Received Electronically. You may request a paper copy of any Account Statement or other information received electronically under this Agreement by notifying us. Please refer to the contact information noted at the end of this Agreement. All requests must include the applicable account number(s) and specific period(s) the statement is requested for. Please refer to our fee schedule for applicable fees.

Change of email address. If you change your email address, you agree to update your email address under the User Options feature within our Home Banking system. Failure to do so may adversely affect electronic statement notifications that are sent to you via email.

Equipment and Software Requirements. Each document, which may be presented to you electronically under this Agreement, may be printed if you have a printer available or saved and retained for your records. You may not consent to receive your account statements electronically under this Agreement if you do not have the capacity to print or retain the documents.

To receive electronic records and use the electronic services of the Credit Union you need a computer with internet access and a minimum web browser of Netscape Navigator® 7.2, Microsoft Internet Explorer® 7.0 or higher or Mozilla FireFox 1.0. To access your statement electronically you must install Adobe's Acrobat Reader. This is available for you to download at no cost on the Credit Union's web site. You are responsible for the set-up and maintenance of your home computer and modem.
